On-Site Registration will be available at the conference venue throughout the duration of the conference.
We would appreciate your cooperation to register as early as possible.

  1. *1 : Supporting Organizations are listed here.
  2. *2 : Student Member registration is only applied to a student member of IEEJ, KIPE, CES, IEEE PELS/IAS, EPE or other supporting organization.
  3. *3 : Student rate is applicable only to those who have student status at the time of conference.
    Students are required to submit a scanned image file (in either jpeg or pdf format) of their student ID via online registration form.
    Please be advised that student rate will not be applied for students who have a full-time job.
  4. *4 : Retired Member registration is applicable to a retired person who still continues his/her membership of either IEEJ, KIPE, CES, IEEE PELS/IAS, EPE or one of the other supporting organization.
  5. *5 : Banquet fee is NOT included in the Registration fees other than that of Accompanying person. Participant needs to buy a banquet ticket to attend the Banquet.
    Please note that seat availability of the Banquet is limited and the tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
    Banquet tickets have been sold out.
    If you would like to be put on the waiting list, please choose "[Banquet] I will attend [be on the waiting list]" on the registration form.
  6. *6 : Accompanying persons are limited to the participants' family members only.

Important Notice for authors

In order to submit a paper, one of author’s completion of the conference registration (and payment) is required.

Deadline: Friday, March 9, JST

  1. 1) If an author has one paper to submit:
    One Regular Rate registration is needed regardless of the author’s academic status.
  2. 2) If an author has two papers to submit:
    The author can receive a 50% discount of regular rate for second paper (hereinafter “Second Paper Fee”). If the author has a student co-author, this second paper fee can be applied for the co-author student’s registration fee.

    *If the second paper fee is used for the co-author student's registration fee, the rate of the second paper fee depends on the student’s membership status.

  3. 3) If an author is to submit three or more papers, repeat the same procedure 1) and 2) above.
    For the second registration, please add a letter, “2”, at the end of the author’s last name.
    (e.g. Smith 2)

The rate of the Second paper fee without student registration depends on your membership status.

*Please note that online registration process is required for the student, though his/her fee is waived.

Registration procedure

When the author completes the registration with notification of the paper number that he/she covers, “Paper Submission Key” is issued on your user account.
This Paper submission key will be required to input to submit a full paper.
If the author applies for the “Second Paper Fee”, 2 Submission keys are issued.
One key can be used for one paper only.
Keys can be used only for the papers that are authored by the registrant.

Each person can apply for only one “Second Paper Fee.”
If you would like to submit 3 or more papers, please register twice. Please add a letter, “2”, at the end of your last name on the registration form second time. (e.g. Smith 2)

Payment

Payment must be made in Japanese yen and can be made by one of the following methods:

  • * Any bank charges including the ones of paying banks or intermediary banks should be borne by the applicants.
  • * For international bank transfer, the transaction fees of banks in both the source and destination countries might be deducted from your payment. If the amount of received payment is less than that of registration fee, you will be asked to pay the balance on-site.

    For your information, the following paying bank's charges are required in Japan: Remittance charge (always required): approx. JPY 1,500 Lifting charge (depending on your bank): approx. JPY 2,500

  • * If the remittance covers more than one person, please inform us of the name of each participant.
  • * If you require an invoice for the payment, please contact the Registration Office after choosing the payment method as bank transfer.
  • * Receipt can be downloaded through the registration user account.
    (Printed receipt will be provided at the conference site.)
  • * Please note that the payment method for onsite-registration will be cash or credit card.

Confirmation

- If you have paid the registration fee by credit card, Confirmation will be sent to the registered e-mail address automatically.

- If you pay the fee by bank transfer, a reply e-mail with bank information will be sent to the registered e-mail address. After confirming your payment, Confirmation will be sent by the Registration Office.

If you do not receive any e-mail message within 24 hours, please contact the Registration Office.

Changes of Registration

Please revise your personal information by logging-in to your user account.

If you would like to change your registration category and payment method, please contact the Registration Office.

Cancellation

If you cancel your participation in the conference, please be sure to notify the Registration Office by e-mail or fax immediately. The following cancellation fee will apply, based on the date when the office receives notification of cancellation. However, if you are the author of the papers listed on the conference proceedings, your registration fee will not be refunded.

*About the refund

  • - Via Credit card:

    The refund will be made via the credit card company which you have used at the registration.

  • - Via Bank transfer:

    All refunds will be made after the conference.

    Bank charges will be deducted from the amount to be paid back.
